Thanks for all the supportive words yesterday. I appreciate every one of them. Even the one telling me to knock it off.
Moving on.
Eva and I had a great day yesterday. We hit Costco in the morning and got home at the same time Austin and some friends showed up (they can leave school between finals) and they helped me unload. Which was awesome- unloading is the worst part about going to Costco! Oh how I love being back in a walkable small town.
It hit about 90 here and since we have no a/c we spent the entire day outside.
We have two huge oak trees on the side of the house that provide amazing shade. So with the water hose and some nice breezes we stayed pleasantly cool
The girlie was being so good we decided it was a no nap day (not to mention a little too warm for sleeping)
She was a trooper- usually she needs her nap to maintain her sanity.
Cole came home from school and stated that all his friends were going to the pool so we needed to go too
So we ditched the hose and hit the pool.
Andy picked up pizza on the way home from work and we had a great family dinner outside to celebrate today being the last day of school for the boys (Eva finished last week). The girlie ate a red popsicle and was a sticky mess so she was plopped into the tub and crashed at 8pm and I crashed at 9:45.
A perfect kind of day.
Speaking of perfect…
These pictures made me smile today, could they be any cuter? adoption is such a cool thing.
