I must admit, even after watching lax for 6 years now, I am not it’s biggest fan. I love the game and how fast paced it is, but I hate all the whacking with the stick. Because they whack each other hard. First game some kid left with broken ribs, Austin’s friend got a concussion a couple weeks ago…..
And there is almost always some kid with anger management problems that takes things too far and starts a fight. I’d like to say this only happens on Austin’s middle school team (well I’d like to say it doesn’t happen at all) but it happens on Blake’s team too.
I’ve seen the smaller kids got flying when they get hit. It makes my stomach hurt.
The girlie likes to watch tho, she yells “Au-do!!” For Austin.
This is Austin’s last week, and Blake and Cole finish up in two weeks. I’m ready. It’s been a rainy muddy season.
The sun is out for the second day in a row and I am off to enjoy it!

so ready for lax to be over. we skipped last week due to illness, it just isn’t worth the fight. I told R he has to go to every practice the next two weeks, and then he doesn’t have to do it again. Yeah for the sunshine! hope you had a nice Mother’s day!

I thought of you tonite as I am reading blogs. I came across Amy Butler and her house in Granville on Apt. Therapy. I love this style home. Love seeing Miss Eva growing up!

I’ve never actually watched a game but always thought it was pretty cool looking. I would get sick watching the kids getting whacked!
