When Andy and I were in college we used to make this easy pasta dish all the time. I stopped making it for a while but Cole loves it so it is back in the rotation. I usually sprinkle bacon in the top but that is optional.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Spaghetti
- 5 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 6 cloves minced Garlic
- 1/2 – 1 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Boil Pasta.
- While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 1/2 – 2 minutes. Once the garlic is softened, remove from heat and add red pepper flakes.
- Once pasta is cooked, drain, and then toss with garlic and olive oil mixture. Toss with freshly grated parmesan cheese. Salt according to taste. If you like spicy foods, add a touch more red pepper flakes.
