A big catch up

Grab a beverage of choice this might be a long one.

November rolled in and we were happy to say goodbye to October. After we said yes to the puppy we started getting updates which was a lot of fun.

We said goodbye to our old 4-runner. I loved this car, we bought it new a few years after I had Cole and was done with mini-vans. It lasted through all three boys, eventually with no a/c, a crushed bumper after Cole slid into a tree in the mountains, and lots of other issues. I was sad to see it go, it was a good car.

Fall was super nice weather wise and Hudson enjoyed the pick-up line while we waited for Eva to get out of school

Sometimes something simple like buying new dishes can help change your mood. We still had our fiestaware we got when we got married (and we still have it as the kids love it) but I wanted a fresh start. I LOVE theses new dishes.

We went to see James Taylor, an amazing experience that I will never forget. Love him.

Austin and Taylor came to visit for Thanksgiving

We did a little photoshoot in Durham

I take a lot of pictures of kitties these days

And more puppy updates

And let’s not forget Hudson

Hudson got a weird skin infection and had to be shaved in a few spots so he sported a plaid shirt for a bit

Walks with him are my fave

Andy found our megalodon shark tooth in the fire debris at what was once our beach house. It split in half but it survived.

Christmas was a bit low key this year because of everything our family has been through. We were just happy to be together.

Things I have been making. My fave breakfast….

Avocado toast. I made this with my fave bread (the best), Avocado spread (this is so good and so easy), High protein cottage cheese, and of course Everything but the bagel seasoning (I use this one)

Took Eva to UNC’s planetarium which was super cool, so lucky to live near a cool University.

Mornings are my fave

January rolled around and my birthday and puppy day arrived! First we went to a museum in Charlotte before our 2pm pickup puppy time

And then it was time to pick up Cosmo!!

I cried when she handed him to me

His first car ride

had to stop to pee on the way home 🙂

Meanwhile the cats at home have no idea what is about to happen 🙂

And now… just lots of cuteness!!

1st Bronco ride

1st vet trip, and first swim in the pool (not ours, he accidentally fell into neighbors pool)

First snow

He is a lot of work but we are loving every minute of it!
