Dusting this thing off

2023 was a tough year and by the time Christmas rolled around I just didn’t feel like taking many pictures. I don’t think my big camera saw the light of day all year. But we were happy that Taylor and Austin made the trip down to spend the holiday with us. We even ventured out to an escape room which was a lot of fun

Life was still feeling a bit shakey and weird but Cole was able to go back to college after spending some time at home recovering. He got a cat and named it Lightbulb.

Meanwhile we had a low-key holiday season with an extra couple of cats

Andy and I went to the Dominican Republic for a long weekend to reset and decompress after a very long few months (well year, lots went on last year)

It was wonderful. I got the same breakfast every morning.

I wasn’t sure I wanted to go, but it was exactly what we needed

Came back home and went to see Elvis Costello in concert again

And then we packed up and headed back to the beach

And then we were back home to wrap up January and February
