Life Lately

We are slowly getting into our routine around here. I will admit that is weird that the kids are finally back in school again. Although after a year and a half of barely leaving the house Eva got covid her first week back. She was fully vaccinated, her school requires masks, yet there we were. Her rapid test came back negative but the longer one came back positive. Fortunately she didn’t really have any symptoms- just a small soar throat for a day or so. She isolated and no one else got it. Cole had to miss a few days until his negative test came back.

Last weekend my palm trees for around the pool were delivered. Hello tropical!

The weather turned cooler on the first day of Fall so the dogs and I went for a long walk

I love when Blake sends me pics of his kitty- I miss that trouble maker. And Blake too 🙂

Andy and I snuck out last Friday to grab an early dinner. Outside.

Eva’s grandma sent her some Texas shaped pasta and she loved it. Ate it in two days lol

I have been trying to break out of our recipe rut and try new things. One was this feta pasta bake. It was so good!

Oh and for pizza night I roasted my own peppers. Super easy and tased great!

Almost time for Eva to get home from school so I am off to feed the pets their dinner and get ready to listen to her talk about her day- which usually takes a good 45 minutes 🙂
