Rainy Monday

We have had such hot days lately it is so nice to have a rainy day. The humidity is low and the temps are cool and I am hanging with part of the crew enjoying the sound of it coming down.

We had a nice weekend of pool days and Andy got a lot of work done yesterday moving the plants where our new patio is going to go.

I have so many books on my kindle that I am trying to get through but I have been slow with it lately. Hopefully can do a book post soon. Look how crazy my hair gets. I found a bee in it when I went inside.

I know. The dog is Ridiculous. So is this- way too hot to sit this close lol. He loves me.

He just loves to swim

Another frog in the pool. Eva actually swam down to try to grab him but he was slippery and fast. She ended up shooing him into the net.

I have problems with a lot of sunscreen. It stings my skin. I try to use only mineral kind but it is SO heavy and feels kinda gross. I found this mineral spray at Trader Joes and I love it.

Feeling like I am in a dinner rut so last night I tried mixing pesto and alfredo over butternut squash ravioli. Sprinkled red pepper flakes on top. It was so good! Also made more caprese garlic bread.

A couple nights ago we grilled out chicken and I made this yummy avocado dip that I haven’t made in a while. So tonight it’s going to be leftovers- I am thinking pan nachos.
