House Update

I’m not gonna lie- things are moving at a snails pace lately. It is so hard to live so close and see no progress. My hope is that things will turn around soon and we won’t be homeless come July 1st when our lease ends here. Yes, it will have been a year and yes that is enough time to build a house. Ugh.

But… thought I would post an update as to what has happened around 202.

We met with our pool guy to talk about final design and layout. Our lot is tricky because it is sloped (the reason we can have a basement in NC) but can prove tricky for a pool. We finally have it figured out. I hope.

Kitchen island color. I love a darker island when the rest of the cabinets are white.

The floor in Eva’s bathroom is probably my fave.

Cole got a haircut. Funny there seems to be a repeating theme outside the barber. Austin saw it and said “#8 is my fave because I have done that one.” Just had to add that. Now back to the house…

Exterior paint colors. I think we are going with the top one.

And that’s about it for new house stuff. Hoping to pass inspections this week which will lead to insulation.
