Basement framing has begun
This is the basement “greatroom”. I love that it’s a walkout and has all these windows. I hate basement dungeons.
This is the kitchen side and where the doors will walk out to the pool.
There is one bedroom in the basement (which Blake has claimed even though he lives in Ohio). This is where the windows will go in that bedroom.
Hudson is handsome.
Fall is finally starting to show up down here in Chapel Hill
This is still one of my fave weekday nights easy dinners. Pepperoni rolls for the kids and pizza for me (and sometimes Andy). Thank you Trader Joes for making my life easier.
When I get ready for bed they sneak in. Seriously how do people live without dogs??
I voted.
Missing these two.
Andy and I went to a 70’s themed Halloween party in our new neighborhood.
Back to the river for more play time. I am always amazed at how clean and clear the Eno river is. The dogs love it.
Love these crazies.
I have been at war with this squirrel. He lives in the front yard here at our rental and he keeps stealing my mini pumpkins off the porch. He has no shame and almost sits there mocking me. He drives Oakley crazy (Oakley watches him all the time from the front windows) but doesn’t seem to be afraid of him.
Speaking of Oakley….
1st floor walls going in.
Afternoon hike with dogs.
Stealing a pic of the kids back home at a Halloween party

Hudson went as Andy for Halloween
Carving Donald Trumpkin (in jail)
And Miss Eva that went as a raccoon.
More Fall starting to show up 🙂
More 1st and 2nd floor going in
🙂 I love my Blakey man. lol.
And back to the crazy squirrel. It appears he is trying to free Donald Trumpkin. Squirrels are dumb.
