Andy is in London this week. He stayed to see the kids off to their new schools (which I appreciated- he was out of town for it last year). Navigating the new has been a little crazy but the kids have been great. Eva goes to school early. I refuse to make her get up in time to catch the bus at 6:50 so I take her myself. That lets her be able to sleep in until 6:45 and even though she is an early riser and usually the first one up I have had to wake her up every day. She is growing like a weed and even with an 8pm bedtime it doesn’t seem to be enough. Maybe it’s just getting used to the long more structured days.
Cole goes in later so after I drop her off I come home and get him up, get the goldens out and fed and then I take him to school. We are close so he could walk but I drop him off. He has practice after school until almost 6 so it’s a long day for him.
So far things are going well. Eva seems happy, Cole seems happy. I hope it continues. Cole misses his best buddy from Ohio but he is flying in next weekend so we are all excited for that.
Our rental is small. About half the size of our last house but we have moved a lot of stuff into storage and it feels cozy. It has a backyard for the dogs and that is huge. The kitchen is tiny and Eva keeps saying she wishes we had our old island where she ate breakfast in the mornings. I can’t believe how many times we have moved in her life. She is such a trooper.
Ok, so back to the 2nd half of the summer.
Packing up and off we go to Florida.
We stopped in Atlanta on the way down and had dinner with my niece and her husband. So good to see them ๐
And then we arrived in Florida and Eva immediately got in the pool.
Andy went to pick up the Ohio people from the airport. SO SO happy to see them again.
Having a pool at our house made me excited for the pool at our new house.
We did a lot of this
I so miss our breakfasts at Cowgirl kitchen
You guys- these giant barn doors!!!
The dogs loved the pool ๐
This crew- love them so much
Don’t look at his hand ๐
I miss them Soooooo much
Us UT people don’t appreciate signs like this

It’s some dumb game he plays with his friends, if you look you get punched. Actually I think we played it when we were growing up as well. lol.
