Asheville

Austin gets a “Fall Break” at Ohio state so we pulled the other kids out of school and went to Asheville for a long weekend. We had never been. Well Austin had been nearby to Brevard for a running camp when we lived in Chapel Hill.

We rented a cute little historic bungalow near downtown that was cozy and just perfect for our family.

Blake was SO into the Moog store.

We took the older kids to the Biltmore

I wasn’t sure it would be worth it but I am so glad we went. So much history, such an amazing property. it reminded me so much of Downton Abbey.

Blake and Cole decided they wanted to hang out downtown so we went for a hike with Austin and Eva.

We also went to the art district where we told the kids no touching (thinking Eva) but Blake is the one that broke something. 😮

Such a great little trip getting away with the crew.

Texting boys to see what they want for the car ride

First night we got in kinda late but we still needed dinner so we decided on a pizza place that had games as well. It was the perfect option.

Austin was nice and bunked with Eva 🙂

The last day the boys went shopping for stuff to take home and Blake decided on a poem from a street artist. I love that!

And that my friends is why I absolutely loved Asheville.
