Well I am all out of order with my pics so I thought I would just randomly start posting. I had decided to take the first couple of weeks of summer off. To let the kids settle in, no camps, no extra activities.
Next thing I know we are weeks into all day all electronics. Which is not how I wanted our summer to go. Cole had a week at camp but besides that we were not getting out of our screen rut.
So those that know me well know what that means. Time to throw the kids in the car and get outta town.
Off to Bald Head Island we went.
We had the best time even though it rained on and off for the first couple of days
We watched Shark Week and probably shouldn’t have as it freaked Eva out.
But she got over it and we had the best time 🙂
This particular day in the water was my fave
We are headed back in a few weeks and I can’t wait!
This time Hudson is going with us
We bought him a life jacket just so he can swim in the ocean and we won’t have to worry so much.
Trips away with my kiddos are the best. I am so glad that I always embraced experiences over things. This time with my family are best memories.
And now Summer is half over. So hard to believe.
I am trying to enjoy every moment. My last one before my first born goes to college.
Hope you guys are having a great summer- it’s such a short wonderful time of year!

We are headed to the beach soon – what kind of camera did you use in the water?

I use the Olympus TG-4. It’s an underwater camera 🙂

I think these are my favorite pictures ever. They feel like pictures from my childhood {because of the editing and grain} but they are just so cool. They *feel* like summer! Love it.
Love that you made a quick get a way too. I want so bad to hit the beach this year…but maybe not till Aug or September.

I love the grain of them too- so fun to do something different with a different camera!
