This week is one of those weeks when there is so much going on that if I stop to think about it I freak out.
Movers are coming on Friday. We are moving into a hotel. And the dogs can’t come. They have to go to the farm. Three hours away. And Blake has a lax tourney in Detroit this weekend. Three hours away.
I am taking pics of the end of year 8th grade dance tomorrow night. After Blake’s lax practice. But I need to be packing and haven’t planned anything for the pics at all.
Because we have to be out. That’s all I can think about.
It sorta sucks.
So two weeks in a hotel and then a week at the beach and then we move into the basement of our house. How do you pack for that? With no laundry? I have no idea.
The girly put this crown on my head and said that I get whatever I wish for- my wish was 10 minutes without the youngers fighting. That’s it
Shiloh in my car- loves going back home to 470. She misses her big yard and jumps in my car every time I leave the rental.
The boys had a hard one hour practice last week- one hour. Seriously. They acted like it was five.
The 8th grade boys played two great games in a tourney and we celebrated at Deweys Pizza
Austin got a Varsity letter (as a 10th grader) for running a mile in 4 minutes and 45 seconds.
A bunch of 10th graders hanging out
Life with boys- a magnet of Blake on the fridge gets defaced (or de-balled) by Cole
Time at Cosi at the water table. I have spent time there for the last 14 years.
These two have a love-hate relationship. Like an old married couple. They will probably get married some day.
In front of me at Starbucks. Um yeah. Sigh.
When you bring middle schoolers back to work the E street carnival snow cone machine it can get kinda crazy
Tired baby after the e street carnival
When your landlords live behind you and spy on you constantly your life can kinda suck
Cole getting well-fed at Nate’s house
Memorial Day parade in Wo-town. It was a good one.
So when you forget to wash the lax jersies that were supposed to be turned in that night and you do a last minute speed wash with a big dose of frebreeze and hang them out the window to dry on your way to the banquet chances are if you live in a small town someone you know will see you and take a pic and bust you.
But that’s the way we roll in Wo-town.
Seriously looking forward to the end of the year, to summer, to getting back into our house. Blake is being heavily recruited by the rowing team. He seems interested. But really wants to still play lacrosse. Who knows, not sure how I feel at this point. I love a sport with a good community- rowing might be that way. I am ready to leave this year behind.

sorry you have so much craziness! after the comments from the landlord, I can understand moving, but it just makes things more difficult! Hope you can get to relax when you hit the beach in a few weeks. At least the school craziness is coming to an end, one less thing.

I think the magnet of Blake was actually “balled” by Cole, not “deballed” 🙂
I had a dream last night that plane tickets to Columbus from NJ were only $70 so we were all going to have Cousin Camp there – maybe I should go check, but only if travel would be more than 4 weeks from now. Hang in there!

Your landlord is a freak. Just saying.
I hate that you have to leave the doggies…but at least they will have some fun chasing rabbits and digging holes at the farm 🙂
The magnets are killing me. Boys are just flat out strange.
