I broke my memory card and had to order a new one which put a crimp in my 365. But I kept shooting.
I’m going to be totally honest here.
It has been very hard for me to pick up my camera in these super cold polar vortex days. I look back at this time in Chapel Hill and we were running around outside all the time. That’s how I like to photograph- not inside our dark cramped rental.
But on the flip side it’s pushing me to pick up my camera. The bad thing is I feel every single picture looks the same.
But at least I am doing it. My goal is to push myself creatively. And to get some shots of the older boys as well.
I am looking forward to some upcoming travel to mix things up a bit and I have been trying to go through older pics-
-add more to flickr
-print pics for Project Life
-Revamp the blog
-get more organized with the whole deal
So much has been out of my control for the last year and I think getting my photography under control is a great way to distract me from thinking about the major house project that is happening a few streets over.
Happy Friday friends- hope everyone is warming up!

Have you kept up with Project Life? I would love to see an update on that!

I am SO on the same page with you. I gotta say, I’m really not enjoying shooting every day. I want to like it…but it just feels another thing I have to fit in for the day, and then I just feel like all my photos are blah and stupid. Yeah. I’m kind of whiny about it today. I just feel like I should be, could be growing, but I’m not. I’m just trying to get it over with and not really pushing myself.
Whine, Whine, Whine. I’m annoying myself 🙂
