Remodel Update

Thought you guys might like to take a peek into our house and see how our remodel is going. I went over there this morning to grab some Christmas lights out of storage and snapped some pics with my iPhone.

This is where they have started taking off the brick. This is also where the new gas line is going. We had to move our line to the side of the house and they are running a new line from the street. We had to move it because we are adding a front porch, I”m not sure why they are running a new line from the street (and why we are paying almost 3k to have them do it). All I know is when I stopped by yesterday they were trying to go under the road from the other side and thought it would be wrapped up soon. Last night they were still there working with flood lights to see. Apparently there is a lot of rock….

This used to be where my washer and dryer were located, off the kitchen by the back door.

that’s the gas company- still trying to run the line- now they say they have to turn off the gas at the street- oh my nieghbors are gonna be thrilled.

I’m not sure when the roof is coming off- but the ceilings are gone (increasing the height of the downstairs to 9ft.)
