Sorta over it

There is no doubt we have all gotten a little sick of the remodel and we haven’t even started yet. The back and forth of trying to make this house work has gotten on my last nerve. I’m over it before it has even started.

My poor Blakey man is having out patient surgery today. He has had a weird cyst thing on his nose for about 5 years now. We have had it looked at before but no one thought much of it. But it hasn’t gone away and it is changing and getting bigger.

The dermatologist thought it was odd, and while the biopsy came back “inconclusive” they couldn’t rule out skin cancer and they recommended we have it removed. Which means a couple inches of scar on his face.

I am home with the other kids while Andy is with him. They are taking it off and testing in pathology as they go to make sure they are getting it all. I just got word from Andy that they got it on the first round, and they were sending him in to have the 2nd part, the “cosmetic” part done.

You can sorta see it in the picture below, now he will just have a scar.

I keep telling him that chicks dig scars.
