So when we hit the little snafu and got delayed Andy ordered a dumpster so he could start some demo himself- I think to relieve some frustration.
Turns out demo is fun and everyone wanted in on it.
I don’t think there are words to describe how gross our kitchen is. And yes our laundry is in the kitchen as well.
There is a weird pass-thru to the dining room (which used to be a side porch)
Blake and I knocked out the cabinets and countertop
It was therapeutic
Eva was a hard worker
Child labor
They were fighting over who’s turn it was to hit the wall
There was only one injury- when Austin kicked the wall and a big chunk hit Andy. In a painful spot.
We called it a day after that.
I am trying to figure out how to save our house plans in jpeg form so I can put them on the blog. So far I am not having any luck. As soon as I figure it out I will post them.

Looks like everyone really got into it. Fun memories to look back on after the renovation is done. It’ll all be worth it in the end.

I’m glad we got to spend a few days there and know the “before” look to the house. Can’t wait to follow the progress.

Have your Architect save your files in jpeg format… Autocad and vectorworks will do that. Then he can make a pdf of them for you. Those are easy to post.

We have some friends who are also doing some major rehab to a house they recently purchased and we helped with some of the demo work as well. 14 and 8 year old boys thought it was a blast smashing things! 🙂 Love that Cole is wearing a paintball mask!
