First week of summer

And just like that we are down one week of summer. It went fast. Started with Father’s Day and a birthday and then another birthday and now it’s Friday.

Yesterday Austin said, “mom I really miss the beach.” Me too buddy. I think life in NC is going to involve a lot of beach. There are soooo many to try out. And after getting the latest Better Homes and Gardens, I can’t wait to check out beaufort.

I found this on the floor- texted Andy a picture of it and said, “I am not the only one losing my mind around here”

Andy built a gate at the top of the stairs- the other night I heard a tapping noise- and then boom, Shiloh jumped on me. Gate didn’t keep her out.
