Cotillion is pretty much bitter-sweet. A sneak peak into what’s waiting around the corner.
It hurts my feelings a little bit, how my kids think they can just grow up so fast like that.
But obviously it’s not just happening to me
It happens to all of us.
And while my eyes tear up a bit looking at how grown up he is
a bigger part smiles at the nice young guy he is becoming- and laughing at his funny faces
Plus he still likes to snuggle with me.
And for those of you that have been following my blog for a while, you know about Blake’s friend MB-
I like to call this pic “Giants” because they are that much bigger than the rest of the 5th grade. Not kidding
Oh how I love that they have been friends for so long, even though they don’t hang out like they used to
Ok, I am off to watch American Idol with the two olders. It is so much fun watching with them.

Blake is such a good looking young man. Is this something all 5th graders do? We do not have anything like this in our area that I am aware of. It looks like a wonderful program. So they learn manners and dancing? Thank you for sharing the great photos!

Those are great! I totally understand where you are. It is so fun and yet kind of heartbreaking to watch them grow up so quickly.
He looked amazing and obviously had a great time 🙂
